One Stop Shopping

The One Stop Shopping project included the design and development of a bespoke website and content management that was completed in collaboration with Velocity Worldwide. Velocity offer their customers a bespoke retail experience by integrating a technology platform that allows retailers to make the most of their data and provide customers with a personalised experience. One Stop Shopping had an outdated brand and website that they wanted to modernise and refresh in line with their new digital strategy. Scaffold Digital were tasked to design and develop a new website in line with the new branding that was being created by Velocity.

OBJECTIVES

When One Stop Shopping first engaged with Scaffold Digital via Velocity, they had a website that was 10 years+ old. They wanted to design a new website that would allow them maximum flexibility to give their customers as much information about the centre as possible. They wanted a new website that would allow them to promote the wide variety of shops they had at the centre, shop specific offers, events, facilities information and contact details. The team at One Stop Shopping also wanted to include an interactive map of the centre that would allow users to select specific retail units to easily find their location and more information about the shop. It was very important to the team at One Stop Shopping that we gave them maximum flexibility over the content housed on the website. Previously the team were very limited in how much they could update and therefore the website very quickly became dated and not fit for purpose. Therefore, it was vital that we developed a content management system that allowed the team to add, edit and delete content throughout the whole website quickly and easily.

OUTCOME

One Stop Shopping now have a bespoke website and content management that is fully in line with their new brand guidelines and digital strategy. The CMS has been developed to meet the needs specifically outlined by the team and gives them maximum flexibility over the content on the website. They can add, edit and delete all content including, shops, events, offers, facilities and much more. This has allowed One Stop Shopping to increase engagement with new and existing customers online by offering them the most up to date and useful information about the centre and the shops within it. The new website has become a hub of information for visitors to the centre.
