Scaffold was engaged to lead this transformation, with an emphasis on building intuitive user-facing apps and delivering seamless back-office integrations with key systems already in place.

This project centred on transforming the experience of social care workers in Northern Ireland as they interact with their regulatory body. From registration and fee payments to profile management and ongoing compliance, the existing process was fragmented, administratively intensive, and reliant on complex legacy systems. The regulator’s team were seeking to streamline operations, improve engagement with their registrant base, and reduce pressure on internal administrative teams. This meant rethinking how registrants accessed services day to day—and modernising how data flowed between platforms.

The app was designed to deliver a native experience, with responsive interfaces, helpful prompts, and secure authentication via Azure Active Directory.
